What do I get back and what does the results file look like?

We get asked a lot on how the results file actually looks like. This article will try to explain just that. Right after your email verification job is complete, you will receive three files - valid, invalid, and unknown. 

Valid file contains all email addresses we believe to be valid and working. Invalid file contains invalid email addresses which have negatively responded to our validation requests and Unknown file usually contains all the Accept-All (where the mail server accepts any email that is sent to it and processes everything later) or email addresses that we couldn't determine the validity for. 

What about Spam-Trap or Complainer Email Addresses? How are they showed on the Results File?

In those three files, we have separate columns to mark a specific email as being true for that column or false. All spam-trap and complainer addresses are going to be labelled as "True" under "Bad Address" column. This way, it's at your discretion whether you would like to send to their email addresses or filter them out of your list.
